We have identified an error on the Winter 2022 tax bills: The Veterans Millage should be 0.05 mills. We will mail out corrected tax bills in the coming days and update information online.
For taxpayers whose bills are paid by their mortgage company, we are in contact with them and will provide corrected information to them.
For property owners who have already paid their tax bill, we will issue a refund for any overpayment. Please check our Facebook page and website – eastgr.org – for updated information.
The internal process that led to this mistake has been identified and corrected. We apologize for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
