Introducing Kentwood's very first Power Wheels Derby! Children ages 1-7 are invited to ride their personal stock "Power Wheels" vehicle and compete in a friendly race around a multi-terrain course set up on the grounds of our Department of Public Works facility on Saturday, August 20. All vehicles must be stock - absolutely no modifications allowed. All participants must wear a helmet. We will have two waves: First for kids ages 1-4, and the next for kids ages 5-7. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place racers from each wave.
The event is open to both Kentwood residents and nonresidents. Spots are limited and pre-registration is required for the event, which costs $10 per racer.
