Village of Ada issued the following announcement on Dec 29.
Ada Township residents may drop off Christmas trees for recycling to the back parking lot of Ada Township Park (1180 Buttrick Ave SE, Ada, MI 49301) between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. now through January 11, 2022.
The trees will be recycled into wood chips. Please remove any decorations, wires, strings, ribbons or other items from the trees that might interfere with a chipper. No wreaths will be accepted this year. Residential Christmas trees only – no yard waste, trimmings, wreaths or commercial businesses drop off.
