On Monday, Feb. 3, former Grandville High School standout Maddie Gkekas’ current college team, the Ferris State Bulldogs, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Hillsdale Chargers.

The game took place at Sand Island Park. This was their first matchup against the Chargers this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3 at 7:25 p.m. at Sand Island Park against Lewis Flyers.
