Friday, March 21: East Grand Rapids High School standout Zach Vriesenga’s college team wins to Akron Zips

On Friday, March 21, former East Grand Rapids High School standout Zach Vriesenga’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their first matchup against the Zips this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1:05 p.m. at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field against Akron Zips.
