Friday, Feb. 14: Byron Center High School standout Sophie Holverstott’s college team loses to Georgia Bulldogs

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Byron Center High School standout Sophie Holverstott’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3:30 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Georgia Bulldogs.
