Zach Vriesenga, former East Grand Rapids High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 14 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 14, former East Grand Rapids High School standout Zach Vriesenga’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Dayton Flyers.
