Sunday, Feb. 16: Byron Center High School standout Jackson Steensma’s college team loses to Queens Royals

On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Byron Center High School standout Jackson Steensma’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 16-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Queens Royals.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Royals this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Coy O. Williard Stadium against High Point Panthers.
