On Monday, March 24, former Byron Center High School standout Avery Zeinstra’s current collegiate team the Grand Valley State Lakers won 60-32 against the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Gannon Golden Knights during the championship.

Avery Zeinstra’s hometown is Byron Center and game position is guard.
