- Monday-Friday [Student Calendar]
- Rate of Pay: $14.20 Per Hour
Education
-High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Duties/Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to learn food preparation and follow operational procedures for efficient and effective food production and service.
- Cooking and/or baking experience, preferred - large quantities.
- Ability to provide an environment conducive in protecting the health and well-being of the school's children through high levels of food safety.
- Must be dependable, have good attendance and punctuality.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community.
- Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior, and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.
- Ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and patrons of the District.
- Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
