Starting Monday, Aug. 8, 56th Street SW will be closed to through traffic from Byron Center Avenue to Ivanrest. That’s so crews can repair the asphalt repairs and rebuild the Kent Trails crossing. Residents along this stretch of 56th Street will continue to have access to the road, which will reopen to through traffic Aug. 17. Please follow the posted detour, which includes 52nd Street.
On Aug. 8-10 and again Aug. 15-17, 56th Street will be closed to through traffic 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Ivanrest to Wilson for asphalt repairs. Residents along this stretch will continue to have access. The posted detour will include 52nd Street.
