City of Kentwood issued the following announcement on Apr 12.
Following are a few highlights from the April 11 City Commission meeting. During the meeting, City Commission:
- Reviewed the preliminary general fund budget for FY 2022-2023.
- Approved a request for a tax abatement transfer from Advance Packaging Corporation to PCA Michigan Acquisition LLC following a public hearing.
- Authorized contracts for the installation of a security camera system at Jaycee Park.
- Authorized a contract for engineering services for 52nd Street rehabilitation and water main replacement from Kalamazoo Avenue to Breton Avenue.
- Approved a contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation for the reconstruction of East Paris Avenue from 36th Street to 28th Street.
