Caledonia Community Schools issued the following announcement on Apr 12.
The Mock Trial class at Caledonia High School works on preparing and presenting their case to a judge and jury.
Throughout the semester, students work on learning all aspects of preparing a case and how to effectively argue their case. They compete against other schools across Michigan and a real judge and jury of attorneys evaluate their case and arguments. This year Caledonia Mock Trial received the award of Honorable Mention!
The class works with a local attorney, Beth Yard, and classroom teacher, Mrs. Jonkman, to develop their case
