Godfrey-Lee Public Schools issued the following announcement on Feb 22.
Two of our very own qualified for State Finals this year! Libia Hernandez is a Regional Champion in Wrestling. Karyna is wrestling for 5th or 6th Medal. This is the first year that the MHSAA is sponsoring and running the Girls Individual State Finals tournament!
Prior to this season, it was an end of the season Girls State tournament sponsored by the Coaches Association.
