Lowell Area Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Winter has arrived! Over the last few weeks, we’ve noticed an increase in student drivers arriving late and, as a result, feeling (and sometimes driving) rushed. Please talk with your student drivers and remind them to leave earlier in the winter months so that they have plenty of time if the roads are bad due to weather. Above all, please remind them to drive safely no matter what.
We certainly want students to be on time and prepared for learning every day, but we want them to be safe more than anything. Plan ahead and be safe!
