Kentwood Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 23.
Yesterday EL newcomers, along with EL Kindergarteners and 1st graders at Meadowlawn, were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal hosted by our EL teaching team. Many of our EL fifth grade students helped out with serving and cleaning up. Students truly enjoyed this tasty event.
Thanks to Meadowlawn staff who helped with preparing and supplying food for the meal. And a HUGE thank you to the Meadowlawn EL team--Kelly Sanchez, Missy Thompson, and Cassandra Kelly--for your work and dedication to our students and for making this all happen.
And finally, to all at KPS, wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving from Meadowlawn!!!
