We are so proud of our students!
The 32-member student council at East Kentwood High School-KPS organized a “Fill the Bus” food drive within their district for the last three weeks. We were contacted last week to see if they could donate the food to us and we gladly accepted. On Saturday, members of the student council and some staff members arrived with a busload of donated food. It was amazing!
After 45 minutes the bus was empty and we had filled a heaping 9 totes with the food items! What a great blessing to our community and to the 400+ families we serve each month. A huge thank you to EKHS for donating this food to Streams of Hope!
