City of East Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on Oct 12.
Absentee voters: drop off your ballot as soon as possible. You can do so at the front desk during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or place it in the drop box at the Community Center.
Please note the front door of the Community Center is always open and the dropbox is located on the wall to the right a few steps inside the door within the vestibule across from the KDL book dropbox. If you reach the second set of doors, you have gone too far.
If you are planning on mailing your ballot, please do so about two weeks prior to Nov. 2 to ensure your vote gets to us in time. Postmarked ballots will not be counted.
