Caledonia Community Schools issued the following announcement on Oct 15.
We'd like to thank the Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce for giving Adam Chamberlin our Transition Program teacher an opportunity to share his vision at their quarterly meeting.
The Caledonia Transitions Program is centered around adults with special needs who are looking to transition from high school into the working world. This program helps our students learn general life skills, relationship skills, and work-related skills. While school-based learning helps to develop most of these skills, the work experience, and
interpersonal skills people learn while on the job, cannot be fully experienced in the classroom. Adam hopes to partner with local businesses to help expand opportunities for our CCS students!
