MHSAA issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
We believe every high school team in Michigan needs a positive concussion culture. The Concussion Legacy Foundation’s National Team Up Speak Up Week Sept. 8-14 asks teams to give a simple speech telling athletes to speak up to a coach or an athletic trainer if they think a teammate has a concussion.
