Reimagine Trash recently issued the following announcement.
As Grand Rapids and Kent County residents, we are able to participate in a single-stream recycling program that allows us to mix together all kinds of recyclable materials.
Unfortunately, many of the items believed to be recyclable actually are not, while other materials that could be recycled end up in the landfill.
Join us for this personal tour of the Recycling and Education Center (Kent County Department of Public Works) to learn more about this process and how we can be better stewards of our trash!
