Sunday, May 4: East Grand Rapids High School standout Zach Vriesenga’s college team wins to Central Michigan Chippewas

On Sunday, May 4, former East Grand Rapids High School standout Zach Vriesenga’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their third matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
