On Thursday, April 17, former Grandville High School standout Spencer Verburg’s current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium. This was their first matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
