Of the 654,958 citizens living in Kent County in 2021, 75.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 496,712 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 243,459 were male, constituting 49%, and 253,253 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Kent County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
