Meet our new Bowling coaches:
Ted Cherry - "I'm excited to be joining the bowling team this year. I have been a math teacher at Godfrey-Lee for the past 15 years, and this is my first coaching position in the district. After playing lacrosse in high school, I coached the sport for ten years. I have experience working with students of all ages. Despite having no experience coaching bowling, I am excited to bring passion and fun to the game. I'm married to my wife, Maggie, and I have two children: Julieann and Ellie."
Dalila Flores - "My name is Dalila Flores. I work at the ECC and Lee High School as one of our PE teachers for the district. I grew up on the south side of Chicago and went to the University of Illinois for college (Go Illini)! I moved here to Grand Rapids at the beginning of quarantine and never left.
Fun fact: In high school, I went from a freshman earning “Most Improved” to “Captain” of the Bowling team my sophomore year. I’m excited to be a part of the high school community more and participate in a fun sport like bowling! You can catch me bowling, walking my dog or eating at a new restaurant during my free time."
