The Kraft Meadows Intermediate School STEM class recently completed the "Pixel Paper Crafting" unit.
Students chose a character that they enjoyed and worked to build this character from a flat print to a model. Students practiced hand/eye coordination, sequencing skills, spatial skills, math reasoning, mental concentration, and perseverance.
This activity also focused on math skills; symmetry, measurement, 3D comprehension, and problem-solving. While the models were small...the learning was BIG!
