Kentwood community: We’re seeking your help to restock Kentwood's Little Free Pantry with a food drive now through October. If you have extra canned goods or personal care items on hand that you'd be willing to donate, please consider bringing them to the Kentwood Activities Center or Kent District Library - Richard L. Root/Kentwood Branch during business hours.
Suggested donations include:
• Prepackaged food like rice, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, shelf-stable milk, pasta sauce, soup, macaroni and cheese, tuna and canned fruits and vegetables. Please remember to check expiration dates.
• Personal care products such as shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, diapers, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
In addition to donations at our pantry and collection bin locations, we’re always seeking more community partners who are willing to host food drives at their organization or business. Please consider becoming a year-round partner so we provide a more sustainable resource for community members in need of food and other essentials.
More information is available at kentwood.us/LittleFreePantry. Thank you for being a part of our community effort! Your generosity can really make all the difference for so many who call Kentwood home.
