John Cain (Varsity volleyball coach):
"In college, after being dismissed from the baseball team for the unpardonable sin of not having enough talent, I played on the 1992 Men's & Co-ed Intramural Volleyball Championship teams at Grand Valley State under the Legendary West Michigan Volleyball Coach Christopher Bosse. That showed them!
I came over to Lee in 2005 as an Assistant Baseball Coach. I somehow became Athletic Director in 2009, started Coaching MS Volleyball in 2017 and was promoted to Varsity Coach in the middle of the 'Great Pandemic of 2020'.
I am now the Assistant AD at Lee where I hope to stay at least until my twin girls get through HS so I can keep an eye on them and tell any attempting suitors; 'not on my watch, boys'"
Sarah Bradstreet (JV volleyball coach):
"I played basketball and ran track for Byron Center high school. After graduating in 2011, I continued playing basketball with my twin sister at Northwood University. Graduated with a degree in Advertising & Marketing where I am now an Account Manager for a tech company. I have been coaching basketball since 2015 for MSA and in 2019 was brought on as the middle school girls basketball coach for Godfrey-Lee (shout out to my husband Marcus Bradstreet for getting me an interview). In 2020, I also helped assist John Cain with Varsity volleyball. In 2021, became a middle school girls volleyball coach here and am now the JV girls volleyball coach! Go Legends!
Fun fact: both John and I are Notre Dame fans! "
