CHS students will be released at 12:00 pm today. We are recalling our bus drivers and busing will be provided to students needing transportation at approximately 12:30 pm. Those students attending KCTC will be transported at their regular time. Additionally, lunch is available for those students who wish to eat before leaving.
Yesterday’s heavy storms caused damage to area power lines. Consumers Energy is currently working to repair a power pole and that repair has caused a disruption to power at CHS. At this time, Consumers Energy has not provided an estimated time for restoration of services and the prolonged power outage has caused unanticipated operational challenges.
Students and families have been notified.
