Caledonia Village Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Caledonia Village Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Michigan lost 1,242 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,844 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 9960 Cherry Valley Ave SE, Caledonia will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Wayland Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Caledonia Village Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Caledonia Village Ace Hardware is located at 9960 Cherry Valley Ave SE, Caledonia, Michigan. This location is owned by Ross Allan Martin, represented by Joseph Drouillard and managed by Ross A Martin.
