East Grand Rapids Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.
EGRHS will have a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 3, 2022.
Early this morning, a piece of cleaning equipment caught fire in the EGRHS cafeteria. School personnel immediately put out the fire with a fire extinguisher; however, we need additional time to clean the area and mitigate the operational impact of the fire. Due to these circumstances, EGRHS will follow a 2-hour delay schedule as pictured. The previous support-hour schedule (that was scheduled for today) will be reassessed and scheduled for another time, possibly next week. Thank you for your support and patience as we work through this situation.

KCTC arrival/departure will run as scheduled.
EGRHS Blood Drive will run as scheduled. Participants will be re-routed to enter/exit from Door 21 (near Memorial Field/Weight Room).
