City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Jan 16.
Looking to add a new workout routine without the long-term commitment? Come try one of our fitness classes starting on February 2nd. Both are great for all ages and fitness levels.
• Stretch & Strength is a 4-week program where participants will practice some gentle yoga stretches along with strengthening exercises with free weights. Class is held on Wednesdays at 6pm the Kentwood Library Community Room; cost is $20.
• POUND is a 4-week cardio program where participants will rock out to fun energetic music and “play the drums” using weighted drumsticks engineered for exercising. Class is held on Wednesdays at 6pm at the Kentwood Activities Center; cost is $25.
