Forest Hills Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.
As part of our ongoing effort to support families, we’d like to introduce the first of a series of virtual panels for parents which will take place on Thursday, January 13 at 6:30 pm. Kathy Howard, pediatric physician, Kyle Ahonen, psychiatrist, Mark Larson, chronic absenteeism liaison for Kent County, and panelist from FHPS mental health and counseling will discuss the physical and psychological triggers and impacts of school avoidance and absenteeism. The panel will share information and strategies to help support families.
