Last night we held our first ever Citizens Academy class. During this course these citizens will learn about the Grandville Police Department History, Organizational Structure, Communications/Dispatch Operations, Records/Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Support and Technical Services, Patrol Function, School Resource Officers, Investigations (Vice and General), Special Teams, Law Enforcement Training, and the Kent County Prosecutors Office. We greatly appreciate these citizens giving us the gift of their time.
