State Rep. Bronna Kahle (R-Adrian) recently announced she will run for her final two-year term as the representative for the 57th District Michigan House of Representatives.
“With your support, advice and prayers, I will continue listening and working hard for us to strengthen our economy, fix our roads, support quality education, and defend our values and constitutional rights,” she wrote in a March release. “Together, we will build a brighter future in Lenawee County and across the state.”
Michigan has a three-term limit and this will be Kahle’s third time running to serve the people of Michigan. Her previous work as the Adrian Senior Center director is what drives her work to protect senior citizens, according to the Ionia Sentinel-Standard.
“I continue to work on passing legislation to further protect seniors from physical and financial abuse, and to support Meals on Wheels and in-home care,” Kahle wrote in a press release
Her legislation carries a lot of support for the senior citizens of Michigan, working to help hospice receive the medicine it needs, also expanding access to alternatives to opiates while working to eliminate taxes associated with hip and joint replacement.
There are currently no other Republican challengers for the 57th District Michigan House of Representatives seat.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to carry our values and strong work ethic to Lansing to achieve results that matter. Big changes were made to our auto insurance laws, which will lower rates significantly and I worked hard to stop the governor’s massive tax increases on drivers and small businesses,” Kahle said in a news release.
Kahle and her husband, Patrick, have been married 29 years and have two children. She received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Baker College.
