Mlive issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
JACKSON, MI -- Downtown Jackson is getting more colorful by the minute.
The Bright Walls Mural Festival is in full swing, as 21 murals are being painted downtown for the Sept. 5 through 10 event.
Murals are starting to take shape, as the walls slowly transform from a blank canvas, to the artist's grid, to their final masterpiece.
